USS Cross Wind
Windy is a reserved, little gal who weighs about 61 pounds. She has a sleek, shiny black coat (I mean very shiny – she’s a looker). She is just taking to stuffies and is really beginning to enjoy them. She knows all the basic commands well. Windy would be very easy to train to bow, as she bows for the first few minutes when she comes out of her kennel every morning. She is shy of those individuals she does not know, but with familiars she is very comfortable with. Whoever adopts this little beauty will have a dog that is very loyal. She follows me all around the house, right at my hip. She crates well and has never had any accidents in the house. She gets along well with our other grey, Cameron, even despite the fact that he gets pushy at times (he’s an alpha male). She is very patient with our son’s lab mix when he brings him over for a visit. Windy has tested cat safe.
Windy’s foster parents, Mike & Jill, decided they didn’t want anyone else to take Windy from them. The adoption papers were signed on October 10, 2009. Congrats!!
