MeMe, who turned 2 in May, greets each morning with exuberance. I think she wakes up each day and says, “Yay! It’s sunny!”, or “YAY! It’s raining!”, or just plain, “YAY!” She is happy, playful, and really, really smart! After a day or so of inquisitive nosing around, she is pretty uninterested in our three cats, even when they are chasing each other around the house.
MeMe received some great training at SCAL; I’m really thrilled about how well she walks on lead, heels, sits, gives a “high five”, downs, stays, and comes when called. I haven’t tried to work with her on her cone game, since we don’t have cones (she learned to differentiate left, right, and middle while in SCAL), but am thinking of a way to replicate that so that she doesn’t forget her training.
This sweet girl really enjoys people and playtime, her meals and treats, and the company of other dogs. She LOVES to meet new people, has no fear of strangers at all, and really wants to please. She loves to toss toys around the living room and to chew on a giant nylabone. These fun times, of course, are followed by her finding a comfy dog bed for one of her many daily siestas. Bedtime has been super easy, with her quietly sleeping on her dog bed throughout the night. She crates easily, is a good eater without any issues. No accidents in the house, either! 🙂
MeMe would make a great addition to anyone’s home, particularly to one who’d like to do meet & greets or get involved with pet therapy work. She’ll give you her heart, that’s for sure!
