Rocket graduated on September 18 from the TGIE program.

ROCKET is a gentle, sweet, happy soul. He was a favorite in his TGIE cohort, and small wonder. He readily warms up to new people & takes every new adventure in stride. Rocket is respectful of indoor pets (including cats and even guinea pigs) but if you’re a squirrel, watch out! He doesn’t seem to recognize breeds other than his own as the same species, but we have no doubt that this will come.

His favorite activities are going for long walks, practicing his commands (especially if tasty treats are involved), and playing with his favorite stuffed squeaky toys. He loves his crate and playing with other greyhounds. He can play happily on his own, but prefers having a companion. Rocket would do best in a home with other dogs or someone home during the day. He was recently in a home where he was alone all day and was not happy.

His current foster mom says he is by far the most easy-going dog she has ever cared for. Do you have room in your family for this wonderful greyhound?
