Woody is a laid back, affectionate guy who has discovered a love for squeaky toys. He likes to relocate the toys from room to room. He enjoys his nightly walk and his freedom to roam the backyard…occasionally busting out in a running jag. He walks well on leash, and he has learned his manners very quickly. Woody loves to ride in the car, and is very well behaved on the road.He was in the TGIE program, and he still has some of those commands in his memory. He’s pretty good at catching treats in mid-air, too. He comes when called and is eager to please. He also comes up randomly to nudge us for some extra loving when he feels the need. He has a very happy demeanor, and he would make someone a great companion. We believe he would do great as an only dog, but he gets along with our greyhounds just fine. Woody continues to work on his friendship with the house cats. He is beginning to get used to our cats being around and is learning that they are friends. He is very independent, crates well, and is a great companion. He is fine with the children and enjoys the extra pets they give him.We highly recommend that his new home have a yard he can explore so that he can continue his weight-loss program. His laid back, loving attitude makes him an awesome companion.
