Hi, I’m Play – and boy do I live up to my name. I have all the traits of a new young hound – plenty of energy – but not too much. I’m pretty smart, but my foster mom says I’m not smarter than her! There is a cat in the house and I like to chase it, but when I’m told to leave it alone, I obey.

I’m curious and learning new things every day. They won’t let me take things of the counter and they are teaching me about this thing called “stairs.” I’m working on learning how to go up and down. I’ve been introduced to a new word: “No.” I’m starting to understand that I need to stop what I’m doing when I hear it.

I have a secret weapon to melt the hearts of the people who meet me. I have very soulful eyes that can just melt you, staring back at you as long as you will stare back. . I’m kind of dreamy really. They tell me I’m very sweet, a little rough like a younger pup, yet gentle too. I love playing with stuffies and I’m careful not to destroy them.
