Alonzo is pictured above left with one of my favorite trainers, Anne (on right) and GEM volunteer Donna (on left). Anne trained my boy Tappix, and many other greyhounds that grace couches all over MI, and the US. Alanzo is a great boy, with a sweet disposition, and a silly streak a mile wide. He loves to give kisses! This boy will make an excellent family companion. Alonzo has won the hearts of the Clyne family. He will be sharing his home with Leon and Winston the kitties and his new parents Stephen & Grace. Congratulations Alonzo!
Update:
Alonzo is no longer with us, so there is a bit of a ‘hole’ without his special personality. We had to put him down around Thanksgiving last year due to complications from his cancer; it was a very difficult and sad time. I meant to notify GEM sooner about his trip over the ‘rainbow bridge,’ but it kept slipping my mind. Anyway, we miss him; he was a very good dog. Our 2-yr-old still talks about him frequently. We’ll wait till she’s a little older before bringing a new dog into the family.
