Joey is a big sweet boy who has gone through a training program with Union Lake Pet Services and did greyt. He can be a bit stubborn but really is very sweet and easy to get along with if you understand each other. He would prefer to live as an only dog or possibly with a laid back companion about his size. He certainly is a handsome boy and loves to cuddle. While he’s learned not to get on the couch, trust me, he would love to be cuddling in your lap. Around here we improvise and just sit in the dog beds and he will snuggle up in your lap thinking he’s a 4 pound poodle!
Joey loves toys that squeak, squawk, roll, tumble or just simply look fun … there isn’t a toy that he has met that he doesn’t love! His favorites are plastic squeakers, but the thin plastic doesn’t last long so we moved to thick rubber squeakies. He will play non stop … tossing, squeaking and wanting you to toss it for him. He likes treats as well but a fun toy is a much better reward for this guy.
