DB's Honor
Edith is a pint size “cow dog”. She weighed in at 50.8 pounds at the vets on Tuesday. Edith crates well with a little convincing and at times, you’ll find her there just snoozing away. I don’t know how she does with steps as there are none in our home but she doesn’t have any problem with shiny slippery floors.
Edith just turned 4 on July 28. She’s gotten along well with all our dogs and I wouldn’t say she’s totally cat safe yet but we’re working on slow “one on one” introductions to the cats and she’s doing much better. I just don’t think she knows what they are quite yet.
Edith is very easy going and has been the perfect house quest. She did meet both of our granddaughters, ages 6 and 9, and was very excited to meet them. Her tail was wagging and kisses were flowing. I guess I’ve just realized that I have yet to hear her bark.
More to follow as Edith’s personality emerges.
Edith’s foster mom’s son Phillip Davanzo, and his wife Jane, decided Edith should be kept “all in the family” and made it official on October 16, 2009. Congrats to everyone!! Edith passed away suddenly on January 6, 2014.
