Colt Marlboro is a wonderful, happy boy who loves people and is becoming more and more playful with each passing day. He gets along very well with the other greyhounds in the house and pretty much ignores the cat.
Colt is smart as a whip and is very food motivated. Training will be a breeze for him simply because he’ll do just about anything for a treat! He does have a high prey drive but it’s mostly out of curiosity than anything else. He responds to a firm NO quite well.
Colt is proficient at stairs but he’s your typical greyhound in that if he can nap on the level he’s at, he can’t be bothered with going upstairs.
Colt loves his walks and does his business on lead. After a recent surgery to repair an old racing injury, he seems to be a new dog full of character now that he is pain free. He’s become quite the leaner and crotch rocket, when he puts that head down you know he’s wanting some lovin’
Colt will do extremely well with a family that is mostly home or that can take him with them when they go places. He crates very well but doesn’t like to be left alone for long stretches of time. 2-4 hours alone is about his limit. He simply loves to be with people.
